End Your Day Right: A 15-Minute Night Routine for a Powerful Month Ahead
How I turned my chaotic routine into a peaceful and simple 2 step ritual.
Having a long list of tasks to complete for a night routine is very attractive.
But over time, I’ve come to realize the importance of less is more.
Having only necessary and important activities in my routine has made me more productive and focused.
The fewer the activities, the fewer decisions to make, and the more time I have to complete each task efficiently.
This is what my previous night routine looked like:
- Clean everything
- Shut devices down
- Journal
- Meditate
- Shut devices down
- Plan the next day
- Shut devices down
- Read
On the surface, it may seem like a highly productive routine.
However, I found myself trying to cram all the unfinished tasks of the day into my evening
A night routine should be relaxing, and help you sleep peacefully, and not overwhelming.
That is why I decided to simplify my routine, by only incorporating two activities that had a genuinely relaxing impact on me.
